Exchange Overview

Transcript exchange with post-secondary partners generally follows the same process regardless of the source and destination of transcript data.

The following diagrams provide an overview of the flow of message exchange between partners in different roles.

Document Exchange​

Transcript exchange is facilitated by the exchange of documents/messages with a particular purpose or intent. In a typical exchange the following documents are used:

This flow diagram describes the exchange of the transcript request to a supplying institution.

This flow diagram describes the fulfillment of the request by sending either a Transcript or a Transcript Response
